Search by Eventive IDs

Sometimes it’s helpful to search by criteria that cannot be searched from the global search box in your Eventive dashboard.

While the “search everything” global search box at the top of your dashboard view is the most useful starting point to search for users and events by name and/or email address, for instances when you only have the 24 character “ID string” for an order, tickets, or other properties, you can track them down by pasting a structured url into the browser address bar while logged in to your eventive dashboard.

Remember, you can’t use any of the following ID codes for global search in the “search everything” box, but see below for instructions on how to search using url:

  • Ticket ID

  • Pass ID

  • Order ID

  • Person ID

  • Event ID

Ticket ID

The ticket ID is a string of 24 characters composed of letters and numbers that can be found on any ticket.

On a full page ticket, the ticket ID is listed immediately above the label “Ticket #”.

On a ticket formatted for ticket stock, the ticket ID is listed next to the ticket QR Code.

In the images above, the ticket ID is 662971DD6BF89E00778D7E2F.

Search for a ticket by Ticket ID

To search for a ticket by Ticket ID:

  • Enter the URL admin.eventive.org/tickets/ into your browser’s address bar and add the 24 character ticket ID after the last forward slash to complete the url. The resulting url should look like admin.eventive.org/tickets/TICKET_ID

Example: In the image below, ticket ID is 662971DD6BF89E00778D7E2F was added to the admin.eventive.org/tickets/to make the url admin.eventive.org/tickets/662971DD6BF89E00778D7E2F. Adding this url to the address bar opened the corresponding order in the browser with ticket 662971DD6BF89E00778D7E2F highlighted in yellow.

Order ID

The order ID is a 26 character string of letters and numbers that appears in the top left corner of an order in the Eventive Dashboard.

The order ID is also included in the order confirmation email.

In the images above, the order ID is 67044c136f9e29006d620ff2.

Search an order by Order ID

To search for an order by the Order ID:

  • click “All orders” in the “Global” section of your Eventive Dashboard, this will take you to https://admin.eventive.org/orders.

    • If the role that you have doesn’t have access to the global reports section of the Eventive dashboard, paste https://admin.eventive.org/orders in the address bar and bookmark the page for future reference.

  • Type the person’s 24 character Order ID following the final / in the page address to make a URL that looks like admin.eventive.org/orders/ORDER_ID - this url will take you directly to the order in your Eventive dashboard.

Example: In the image below, order ID is 67044c136f9e29006d620ff2 was added to the https://admin.eventive.org/orders/ to make the url admin.eventive.org/orders/67044c136f9e29006d620ff2. Adding this url to the address bar opened the corresponding order in the browser.

By visiting https://admin.eventive.org/check_pass you can use your computer’s camera to scan a pass QR and it will display the passholder’s name, pass type / pass bucket and provIDe a link to the customer profile. When you click “View pass” to go to the customer profile, the pass will be highlighted yellow to help you IDentify it easily - this is helpful if the customer has more than one pass on their account.
