How to order tickets and use them to attend in-person events powered by Eventive!

Ordering tickets to an in-person event powered by Eventive for the first time? Let us show you how!

How to Order Tickets

You can order tickets to in-person events from both the Schedule page and Film Guide page of an organization's Eventive site!

Eventive accepts most credit and debit card brands worldwide - Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Union Pay, and more!

Order Tickets from the Schedule Page

To order tickets from the Schedule page, simply click the Order Tickets button next to the event you wish to attend, then a checkout window will appear!

If you are logged into an account that has a Pass, you will see the option to order a ticket using your Pass, provided the Pass grants you access to tickets to the event you selected.

Order from the Film Guide

To order tickets from the Film Guide page, click on the film you wish to attend, then click the Select a Showing button.

Select the showing you want to buy tickets for:

You'll be brought to that screening's information page. Click Order Tickets, then a checkout window will appear!

If you are logged into an account that has a Pass, you will see the option to order a ticket using your Pass, provided the Pass grants you access to tickets to the event you selected.

Completing the Purchase in the Checkout Window

If you're not already logged in, you will be prompted to login to an existing Eventive account or create a new account using your email address or Facebook.

Once logged in, confirm the quantity of tickets you wish to purchase, and enter your credit card information. If you already have an Eventive account, your previously-used credit card will be used to complete the transaction.

Have a discount code? Click the "Have a discount code?" link and add it!

After completing the purchase, you will see an Order Confirmation message. Add your phone number if you'd like to receive a text message containing your ticket(s).

You will also receive a Ticket Order Confirmation email, sent to the email address associated with your Eventive account!

Don't delete the email -- it will include a PDF attachment of your ticket, venue details, and it may also contain additional information from the event organizers!

Using Your Tickets

There are a number of ways you can present your ticket at an event!

  • Open the PDF ticket attached to your confirmation email and either print the ticket or show the ticket from your smart phone at the event


    or

  • Click the "You can access your tickets on your mobile device (from our website)" link in the Ticket Order Confirmation Email

    or

  • Go to the event's Eventive site, log in, and click My Tickets in the top right corner:

Then click Show Barcode! This will generate a QR code that you can present at the door of the ticketed event. If your order contains multiple tickets, swipe left on your phone screen to generate the additional ticket QR codes after the first ticket is scanned.

If you have purchased multiple tickets, each ticket contains its own unique ticket QR code. Be careful if you forward your PDF tickets, as each barcode can only be used once.
