Collect Supplementary Data from Members

Ask for information - such as phone number or mailing address - when a membership is purchased.

Use a membership bucket's Supplementary Data tab to collect information from members at checkout.

A member can update their supplementary data - say, if their mailing address changes - at any time from their Eventive account.

How to collect supplementary data from members:

  1. Select the Supplementary data tab from the membership bucket settings page

  2. Click Add new field

  3. Select a field type (see below), label, and description (optional)

  4. Click the Required box if you wish to require that members fill out this field at time of purchase

  5. Repeat steps 2-4 in order to create as many data fields as desired

  6. When you're finished, click Save fields

NOTE: Eventive automatically requires names and email addresses at the time of purchase, so you do not need to add those supplementary data fields.

Field Types

  • Text

  • Mailing address

  • Phone number

  • Date

  • Dropdown select - Add dropdown menu options by clicking "Add option" and select "Allow multiple selections" if applicable

  • Checkbox - Add a checkbox label if applicable

  • State (US) - Option to show an "I don't live in the United States" option (text is customizable)
    ​

  • Image Upload - Customers will be prompted to upload an image. A cropping tool is provided. Option to require a square aspect ratio.

Remember, the most imperative sections to complete in the Pass Bucket editor are the General Tab and the Membership Rules Tab.
