How to Upload Your Film:

You will receive an email from your host organization, sent from noreply@eventive.org, inviting you to upload your film file.

Click the Accept Invite button. You will be prompted to create a new account or log into an existing Content Creator account. After doing so, you will be brought to the Upload Content page:

Click either Upload Content or Choose from Dropbox to upload your film file, which will be automatically converted to all required playback formats for a superior streaming experience.

If available, upload audio description tracks and closed caption files (.SRT or .VTT) at this time, too.

By uploading your film to Eventive, you are granting the organization permission to screen your film in their virtual event, and agreeing that you are authorized to upload the content.

Preview and Quality Check Your Film:

Click Manage Asset next to the film file you wish to preview. Then, simply click View Preview and you can quality check your uploaded film!

How secure is the Eventive platform?

All content is protected with the same Digital Rights Management (DRM) technology used by Disney+, iTunes, and Netflix. DRM prevents users from downloading, copying, redistributing, or converting content to ensure streams only playback on trusted devices with a valid session.

Every film uploaded and streamed via Eventive is secured with a Nagra NexGuard invisible forensic watermark at no additional cost. This forensic watermark identifies each individual user and session, meaning any unauthorized use can be traced right back to the source. Read more about Eventive Advanced Antipiracy here.

Upload your film file directly into our secure cloud storage where it's transcoded and encrypted with DRM and enabled for forensic watermarking. The source file is then deleted immediately after. Only authorized ticket holders or subscribers are granted access to view the content, and all activity is logged.

Our full security page can be found here.

Geographic Restrictions

If you wish for an organization to limit access to your film screening by geographic region - for example, only allow your film to be viewed within the U.S. - please ask your contact at the festival or event to enable Geographic Restrictions for your screening.

Channel Discovery Portal

You can find all published virtual events in the Channel Discovery Portal at watch.eventive.org. Not only can you find the festival screening your film, but you can also watch films by other filmmakers from all over the world in one place!
