Allow Members to Transfer Memberships

We offer a fully self-service way for members to easily transfer their memberships to a friend, family member or fellow enthusiast.

Enable membership transfers via the event bucket settings page to allow audience members to transfer their membership or extra memberships to friends or family!

Enable membership Transfers

Membership transfers are enabled by default in new event buckets.

  1. Navigate to your Event Bucket Settings page

  2. Click the Open Additional Settings button at the bottom of the page

  3. Select “Allow pass transfers” under Pass Settings. Though this setting is located under 'Pass settings' and says 'passes', it will equally apply to memberships.

  4. Click Save Changes

Membership Transfer Instructions

Share these instructions with your members!

  1. Log in to your Eventive account.

  2. Click on ‘My Memberships’ from the menu or the QR code icon in the top right corner of the screen.

  3. Click the 'Manage' button next to the membership you'd like to transfer, then click ‘Transfer membership…’

  4. Enter the recipient's email address and click Submit.

  5. The recipient will receive an email containing a link allowing them to either add the membership to their existing Eventive account or to create a new account if they don't already have one.

  6. Once the recipient has accepted the membership via email, the membership will have transferred successfully!
