Ticket buckets represent tickets available for sale for your events! An event must have at least one ticket bucket if you want to sell/issue tickets. If an event does NOT have a ticket bucket, your audience CANNOT order tickets through Eventive.

Create a Ticket Bucket
To get started:
Open a Physical event's edit page
Scroll down to Ticket Buckets
Click “Add New Ticket Bucket” or “Clone from another Event”
Clone from another event: This is a great way for organizers with more complex ticket bucket configurations to easily replicate them across multiple events within an event bucket!
Ticket Bucket Settings
Below is a breakdown of each setting within the ticket bucket
Name: "General Admission" by default, but you can customize this.
Price: The list price for the ticket. You can use pass rules and discounts to customize the ultimate prices that customers are charged.
Quantity: If you have selected a venue for the event that has a preset default capacity, this capacity will be pre-filled. Otherwise, you can enter a capacity here, or leave it blank to allow unlimited ticket orders.
Public for customer orders: This is enabled by default. If you disable this option, customers will not be able to purchase this type of ticket via your website. When disabled, the ticket bucket is still available through your Box Office, making it ideal for special discounts, different walk-up prices, etc.
Restrict maximum quantity of tickets per customer: This limits the number of tickets that can be ordered per account if enabled.
Enable pay-what-you-can physical tickets: Select this to enable sliding scale ticket prices. You will specify a minimum price per unlock.
The pay-what-you-can physical tickets feature is not compatible with the use of price variants. With pay-what-you-can tickets, the feature is essentially allowing the user to specify their own custom price variant. Please choose between either pay-what-you-can physical tickets or price variants - the use of both features in combination will produce an error.
Pay-what-you can physical tickets are compatible with donations, so your customers can select their own ticket price and still make a donation of their choice to your event.
Sell additional variants of this ticket bucket: This enables you to sell tickets from the same overall quantity at different price points -- such as student or senior tickets. You can add as many variants as you like and they will be available for online checkout and in the Box Office.
Variants are best for tickets of the same type. For ticket types that provide additional benefits (ie. VIP tickets), we recommend creating a separate ticket bucket by clicking "Add New Ticket Bucket."
Custom rush line ticket price: This allows you to charge a different price at the rush line if enabled.
Auto-issue companion ticket to another event: Enable this setting to specify which event your audience members will receive an additional ticket for. Great for double features or movie & party combos.
Restrict ordering to certain pass buckets only: This setting will appear only if you create 2 or more ticket buckets. It allows you to selectively assign quantities of tickets to specific pass buckets or groups of pass buckets.
Reserved seating options:
If you're creating a ticket bucket for an event with reserved seating, you'll see some different options:
No quantity field: There will not be a quantity field because the ticket quantity is automatically determined based upon your seat map.
Seat map category: Select the desired seat map category for which you'd like this ticket bucket to apply. You can create multiple ticket buckets for each seat map category.
For example, you could offer both a Child Floor ticket and an Adult Floor ticket (with different prices), which will both appear as options for seats in the Floor category.
Please note, your seat map must be created and added to the physical event editor BEFORE you begin issuing or selling tickets for the event!
