The next tab to explore after clicking Launch Configurator from your event bucket settings page is the Film Guide tab.

You must first create films in order to customize your film guide and film detail pages in the Configurator. Customizations made in the Film Guide tab will apply to your Eventive film guide and film detail pages, as well as embedded versions of these pages.

Below you will find detailed descriptions of all the settings you can configure in the Film Guide tab:

Unreleased film guide custom content: Custom content to display on the film guide page when the film guide has not yet been released. The default language is "The film guide has not yet been released. Check back soon!"

Want to add a teaser video or embed something beyond text and graphics? Click "Switch to Raw Editor" and use HTML to embed videos, hyperlinked images, and more.

Released film guide custom content: Custom content to display on the film guide page when the film guide has already been released.

Group the film guide into sections: If enabled, films in the Film Guide will be grouped by tags you specify. Add at least one tag to the "Selected display sections" box once this setting is enabled.

When "Enable display sections" is selected:

Always overlay titles on film posters: If enabled, the titles will always be overlaid on film posters (useful if your poster graphics don't always include title names).

When "Always show titles" is selected:

When "Always show titles" is not selected:

NOTE: If "Always show titles" is not selected, you will see the film title displayed over a poster graphic when you place your mouse over the poster image.

Hide poster on film page: If enabled, the poster will not be shown on the film detail page (it will still be shown in the film guide).

When "Hide poster" is selected:

When "Hide poster" is not selected:

Use alternate display mode on film page: If enabled, the title/details will be shown below the cover image on film pages.

When "Enable alternate display mode" is selected:

When "Enable alternate display mode" is not selected:

Use 1080p film stills instead of posters: If enabled, no vertical posters will be shown on the Film Guide page. Instead, horizontal stills uploaded in Films --> Edit Film will be shown on the Film Guide. Enabling this mode will remove the poster and cover image graphics from all film detail pages and film record pages (Films --> Edit).

When "Enable stills mode" is selected:

A note about using tags to filter films in your Film Guide:

Tags in the Film Guide must be clicked twice - once to turn on the filter, and a second time to turn the filter off. If you click multiple tags without un-clicking, the films that display will be tagged with any/all of the tags that have been selected.

You can tell when a tag is selected because the text is bold and not italicized.
