Create a Film
Select your event bucket from the dashboard
Click Films from the lefthand navigation bar
Click Create New Film

Film Details
Film title: The title of the film
Film description: Film synopsis or description, shown on the film information page. You can add text, images, and links!
Short description: A short description / logline, shown in the film guide, virtual catalog (if applicable) and Discovery Portal (if applicable). Optional: if not specified, we'll use the beginning of the longer Film Description.
Tags: Add an unlimited number of tags to categorize the film in the film guide. You must first create the tags using the tag editor.
Details: Information including Year, Runtime, Language(s), Country, Premiere, Rating, and Links to Social Media Profiles to be displayed on the film page.
Credits: Add cast and crew credits to be displayed on the film page, including Director, Screenwriter, Producer, Executive Producer, Cinematographer, Editor, and more. Easily add multiple people per credit line with a comma-separated list.
Add Film Details
You can either manually add film details, or you can use Eventive's integration with The Movie Database!
Begin typing a film title, and recommendations will appear with likely matches. If you select a recommendation, Eventive will automatically fill in details including film title, description, runtime, release year, languages, credits, and even poster, cover, and still images.
You can choose not to select a match if you wish to type in details manually, or you can edit the pre-filled details after making your selection.
Upload Film Media
Poster image: Upload a vertical poster image, displayed in the film guide and on detail pages. Recommended: 2:3 aspect ratio. PNG or JPG.
Cover image: Upload a horizontal cover image, displayed as a background in the film guide and on detail pages. Recommended: 960 x 380 px. PNG or JPG.
Still image for virtual festival: Upload an additional horizontal image here if you're using Eventive Virtual, displayed on the film's virtual watch page. Recommended: 1920 x 1080 px. PNG or JPG.
Trailer URL: Add a YouTube or Vimeo link to embed a film trailer. The video must have embedding turned on, and cannot be password protected.
Visibility
Leave "Visible Everywhere" selected for this film to appear in your film guide
Select "Hidden from film guide" to hide this film from your film guide
Select "Hidden everywhere" to hide this film from your film guide and virtual watch page (if applicable)
Important note for virtual events: Selecting "Hidden everywhere" will not hide the virtual screening, rather, it will hide this specific film from the righthand list of films on a virtual watch page if there are multiple films in the screening. The film will still play in the virtual screening even if it is hidden. If you hide ALL films from a single virtual screening, it will cancel itself out -- you must have at least one non-hidden film in a virtual screening.
Balloting Status
Leave "Balloted" selected if you wish to include this film for your Audience Award
Select "Not in competition" if this film will be excluded from your Audience Award

Upload Virtual Content
Applicable only to organizations using Eventive Virtual.
All films uploaded into Eventive are protected by DRM security and Eventive Advanced Antipiracy, the most rigorous content security program for mass film streaming ever deployed.
Click Send Upload Invite to send an email inviting filmmakers/content creators to upload their media into the Eventive platform.
If you are in possession of the film file, you can click Upload Directly and click either "Choose from Dropbox" to upload the file from Dropbox or click "Upload Content" to upload a file from your computer.
If this film will play from external content, ie. from Vimeo, click Use External Link. NOTE: Films from external links are not DRM-protected, will not play on Eventive TV Apps, and must be public, non-password-protected links.
