There are many types of messages sent by Eventive to your audience, from ticket order confirmation emails to pass transfer messages to refunds and more.

Below is an explanation of which of these messages you can customize!

Please note, you cannot remove any default Eventive language from these messages -- you can only add additional text.


Ticket Confirmation and Transfer Emails

Physical Event Ticket Order Confirmation Email

Can you add custom text to the email? Yes.

Add custom text in the Misc tab of the Configurator, under "Ticket order confirmation message." Any text you add here will be applied to ticket confirmation emails for ALL physical events in your event bucket.

This is where the custom text will appear in the ticket confirmation email:

To add custom text to order confirmation emails for a specific physical event, do so by selecting "Add custom message to confirmation email" in the physical event editor.

Virtual Screening Ticket Order Confirmation Email

Can you add custom text to the email? Yes.

Add custom text in the Virtual tab of the Configurator, under "Customize order confirmation emails."

You have the option to add text to unlock confirmation emails and/or pre-order confirmation emails. An unlock confirmation is the email sent when someone buys a ticket after the screening's availability window has opened. A pre-order confirmation is the email sent when someone buys a ticket before the screening's availability window has opened.

Any text you add here will be applied to unlock / pre-order email confirmations for ALL virtual events in your event bucket.

To add custom text to order confirmation emails for a specific virtual screening, do so by selecting "Add custom message to confirmation email" in the virtual screening editor.

Pending Ticket Transfer Email

Can you add custom text to the email? No.

Below is a sample of the email received when a ticket is transferred. You cannot customize the text in this email.


Pass Confirmation and Transfer Emails

Pass Order Confirmation Email

Can you add custom text to the email? Yes.

To add custom text to ALL pass order confirmation emails, go to the Misc tab in the Configurator and select "Pass order confirmation message."

Any message you add here applies to both physical and virtual pass confirmation emails.

To customize the order confirmation message for a specific pass bucket, go to the pass bucket's Settings page, click Messages, and select "Custom confirmation email message."

If you add a message to a pass bucket's Message tab, that custom text will override any custom message added in the Configurator.

Account Creation Email Sent After Bulk Importing Passes

Can you add custom text to the email? Yes.

Add custom text on the Bulk Import Passes page under "Additional Note."

Pending Pass Transfer Email

Can you add custom text to the email? No.

Below is a sample email received when a pass is transferred to a customer. You cannot customize the text in this email.

Audience and Filmmaker Emails

Account Creation Email Sent After Bulk Importing People

Can you add custom text to the email? Yes.

When Bulk Importing People, you can customize the email subject line, email introduction text, and additional email content directly on the Bulk Import People page.

This is what the account creation email looks like after Bulk Importing People:

Content Creator Upload Invitation Email

Can you add custom text to the email? Yes.

Add custom text in the Virtual tab of the Configurator, under "Custom message to include in content creator upload invitation emails."

This is where the custom text in an upload invitation email will be placed:

Donation Confirmation Email

Can you add custom text to the email? Yes.

Add custom text in the Donations tab of the Configurator, under "Donation email order confirmation message."

Refund Confirmation Email

Can you add custom text to the email? No.

Below is the email sent when a refund is issued. A receipt will be attached. The text in this email cannot be customized.

Password Reset Instructions Email

Can you add custom text to the email? No.

Below is the email sent when a Password Reset is requested by a customer, or sent via the Eventive Dashboard. The text in this email cannot be customized.
